Emilee South plays commanding and fervent rock music.

Combining the raw edge of punk with the driving force of rock, South shouts unapologetically over chaotic guitar riffs and charging rhythms to themes of capitalism, feminism, privilege, power and community.

With influences ranging from Grinderman and IDLES to Sharon Van Etten, the band transition seamlessly from urgent hooks to unyielding power. With features in Rolling Stone, support from RRR and PBS and a double-add to Double J rotation, South’s debut album ‘LUXURY’, recorded with acclaimed producer Anna Laverty, is out now.
